Salary Range: $60,000-$85,000 base salary (depending on experience), bonus opportunity, benefits (including 100% of employee health insurance premium paid by employer)
Who May Be Considered:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or related experience
• 3 years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Knowledge of markets, policies and coverage issues for commercial transportation insurance (trucking, freight brokerage, towing, etc.).
• Organizational skills to plan and prioritize workload, follow agency processes and procedures and the ability to develop and apply operational workflows and procedures that ensure deadlines are met.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal skills, to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients, market contacts, and fellow employees.
• Strong persuasion skills and tact to obtain information, negotiate with markets and obtain commitments from others.
• Problem-solving skills to analyze client information, obtain quote options, analyze different insurance program structures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, agency management systems and CRMs.
Job Description:
You will lead and coordinate marketing efforts for new and renewal business for our transportation practice group, while supporting the Producer's sales initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a consultative resource for clients regarding coverages and marketing strategies, identify and understand client needs, effectively negotiate pricing, oversee the renewal process, and prepare company submissions and applications. Additionally, you'll assist the Producer in presenting coverage options and renewal recommendations, create proposals and finance agreements, mentor and train other account team members, and cultivate strong relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and internal teammates.
