Job Summary
TS Tech is a global supplier of automobile seats and interiors, with operations in 72 locations in 14 countries.

Position: Purchasing Coordinator
Availability: The right candidates will have the ability work any shift and the flexibility to work overtime or some weekends
Skill level: Experience in a purchasing environment is preferred
Qualifications: Understanding of purchasing practices and procedures within the production environment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate Purchasing and/or Sales Activities.
• Achieve corporate goals and meet quality, delivery and cost commitments.
• Ensure product or parts are ordered in a timely manner and terms and conditions are best industry practices.
• Assist in establishing procurement procedures and communicate the procedures to all personnel.
• Maintain supplier management and ensure supplier readiness.
• Coordinate the completion of customer part quotation forms (Sales only).
• Evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet the purchasing procedures.
• Manage the preparation of purchase requisitions/purchase orders and agreements for purchase and sale of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Troubleshoot problems as needed.
• Manage customer demands and communicate changes to suppliers.
• Train, supervise and evaluate associates.
• Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
• Ensure safe operations.
• Have the ability to establish and execute a monthly plan.
• Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
• Assist with the maintenance of the China Compulsory certification (CCC) system.
• Administer performance reviews.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Requires knowledge of purchasing and/or sales terms, principles and processes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb stairs, use fingers, hands, wrists, arms, lift and/or move a maximum of 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to travel.
