Installation Technician
Job Description:
This position is responsible for handling and installing Cambria’s natural stone countertops and other products while interacting with contractors and homeowners in a friendly and professional manner. As an Installation Technician at Cambria, you will be working with a team and independently to ensure efficiency and provide high quality services to Cambria customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Place and install large stone countertops and other Cambria products according to required procedures, as laid out in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Drive a straight truck with a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipment
• Interact with contractors and homeowners on job sites
• Understand and adhere to daily installation schedule
• Work with power tools to cut, grind, and polish stone
Qualifications & Skills:
• Valid Driver's License required, will require background motor vehicle check
• Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements
• Knowledge of cabinetry
• Knowledge of standard measurements
• General construction knowledge
• Math skills (geometry)
• Familiarity with finish carpentry
• Good communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions in a positive and professional manner
• Self-starter that can work independently to meet company and personal goals
• Positive, pro-active work ethic
• Quick learner
• Must be able to work well with others
• Ability to work extended hours as needed (late evenings, weekends)
• Ability to work in a dusty construction environment
• Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including new construction sites, homes, commercial buildings and office environments
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in the construction industry
Systems: Basic computer skills preferred

Managerial Requirements: N/A
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time. This position will require heavy lifting daily. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move a minimum of 100 pounds with a partner.
Travel Requirements: This position will require day travel, opportunity for special projects requiring overnight travel up to a week.
Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience and relevant education and/or training.
