Construction Intern
Interns will have rotating assignments between Preconstruction, Project Management and Field Operations where they will gain insight over the broader construction industry.
Learning and Development: Gaining hands-on experience, learning industry standards, experience in construction processes, workflows, and industry standards
and building relationships with industry professionals.
Project Support: Assist project managers and Superintendents with various tasks, such as preparing reports, coordinating subcontractors, and managing project documentation.
Document Management:
Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Data Analysis:
Assist with analyzing project data, such as cost estimates, schedules, and progress reports.
Fieldwork:
Assist with tasks on the construction site, such as site inspections, material handling, and quality control.
Administrative Tasks: Assisting with paperwork, organizing documents, and maintaining project files.
Field Work: Shadowing project managers and superintendents on site visits, observing trades, and gaining practical experience.
Technical Assistance: Reviewing drawings, understanding details, and potentially assisting with CAD work.
Communication: Taking notes during meetings, writing RFIs, and assisting with communication between project team members.
Project Management: Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and cost reviews.
Site Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized job site.
