Reporting & Compliance Coordinator
Position Summary
The Reporting & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, tracking, and timely submission of all organizational reporting requirements, including those required by CFBHN, DCF, AHCA, and other regulatory or funding agencies. This role ensures reports are completed accurately and submitted on time by working collaboratively across departments and escalating concerns when deadlines are at risk. This role not only supports the coordination and tracking of report submissions but also plays a key role in internal auditing and compliance oversight. The Reporting & Compliance Coordinator will assist in identifying patterns of noncompliance, initiating internal audits, and developing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in collaboration with department leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting. In addition, the role is responsible for monitoring quality measures and key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking and trending performance data, and assisting in the development of reporting dashboards to support compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
• Maintain and manage the organization-wide report tracker, ensuring accuracy and regular updates.
• Track all required external and internal report deadlines and deliverables.
• Send timely reminders to responsible parties and follow up until submission is confirmed.
• Serve as liaison between departments and compliance team for report coordination.
• Conduct quality checks of reports for completeness and formatting before submission.
• Escalate non-responsiveness or risk of noncompliance to the VP of Compliance and Quality.
• Prepare monthly reporting status updates for executive review.
• Assist with developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for reporting workflows.
• Support compliance audits by ensuring timely access to reports and data.
• Stay current on reporting requirements through communication with regulatory agencies.
• Support internal audits related to reporting compliance, identifying trends, missed deadlines, or recurring inaccuracies.
• Develop and implement internal Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) when reports are submitted late, or inaccurate.
• Maintain documentation of audit findings, CAPs, and follow-up activities to support continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with department leads to ensure audit findings and CAP expectations are clearly communicated and implemented.
• Monitor recurring issues to support long-term process improvement strategies and escalation protocols.
• Monitor, track, and trend quality measures and key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards to visualize trends and support data- driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with department leaders to align KPIs with strategic goals and reporting obligations.
• Support the analysis of report outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated experience managing multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (especially Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience in behavioral health or human services preferred.
