Job Description This position provides organizational communication, data organization and usage, event planning for annual safety and leadership campaigns and summits, field personnel support, IT and software support, travel planning support, purchasing and expense reporting, document and package management, onboarding and mobilization/demobilization, among other activities, as a vital member of the Central Operations team in their support of U.S. Operation’s home office and field site work. This role may act as a team leader or team member when assigned.
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff.
• Suggest upgrades, and process improvements for solutions within your area of responsibility.
• Assist in developing and implementing communications programs that are measurable and help achieve business goals, ensuring proper and consistent messaging is delivered both internally and externally.
• Lead creative development, writing, proofreading and editing for a wide variety of communications vehicles and presentation materials, leveraging strong formatting skills in Word, PowerPoint, and other platforms or managing creative projects with a marketing team, adhering to Fluor’s branding criteria.
• Partner with functional stakeholders who roll out new software and systems to help build a communication package conducive to U.S. Operations account and field employees.
• Survey various groups for specific data-query needs and collate the information to the requesters in a succinct and clear way, adhering to Fluor privacy requirements.
• Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities.
Operations & Field Support
• Support directors and site managers in their compliance with data needs, systems updates, or various other requests, following up and driving accountability as needed.
• Facilitate multi-functional mobilizations and demobilizations in accordance with P&FS Quality and functional guidelines.
• Act as application administrator in support of program administrators and sponsors as needed.
• Manage multi-account and multi-line cellular plans for the group, minding cost and connectivity considerations across the diverse projects.
• Book travel and event logistics for individuals or large groups for special events, mobilizations, or training summits.
• Boost employee and site morale as a positive facilitator and resource.
• Troubleshoot using problem-solving skills to resolve issues, find solutions, or properly escalate as needed.
• Help maintain P&FS intranet by supporting functions in keeping relevant and timely information available on SharePoint.
• Maintain timely updates to P&FS data sources ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and meaningful information.
• Coordinate material orders and ship sundry materials to sites in large and small batches.
• Serve as a catalyst of information and a change agent between home office and the fields.
• Backfill site timekeeping as needed.
• Support HSE’s effectiveness in reaching and serving the sites.
• Ensure effective application of Central Operations tools, techniques and programs at the field sites.
• Help sites and functions keep ordering files and document retention in accordance with Fluor and P&FS guidelines.
• Purchase and reconcile expenses for project sites on an as needed basis, working within a budget as necessary.

Basic Job Requirements • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements • Will need to work in the Greenville, SC office 50% of the time
• May need to travel to attend to business related matters
• Comfortable using collaborative software and tools, including but not limited to, QuickBase, SharePoint, SurveyMonkey
• Comfortable following directions and procedures but also comfortable moving forward on a new or yet-undefined project
• Able to assess problems and solutions from a business line perspective down to an individual site perspective, working on supporting management in addressing fit-for-purpose solutions

• Working knowledge of technology-based communications (internet/intranet, social media and other vehicles and their use as part of a strategic communication plan)
• Proven efficiency in project and time management – self-starter with ability to manage own workload
• Ability to produce consistently high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to remain positive and calm under pressure
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and to bend/kneel/box/unpack items are necessary in this role’s support daily U.S. Operations support.
Salary Range 68,000 to 118,000
Market Rate The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
