The coordinator is expected to utilize multiple communication channels for all required work.Job Description:Job Responsibilities:20%-- Student Fundraiser Management.Recruit, hire, train, and coach an established number of Student Donor Experience Officers (SDXOs) to cultivate, solicit, and steward, a predefined portfolio of alumni donors;Facilitate strategic phonathon calling and texting for mass outreach efforts with SDXOs for specific segments throughout the fiscal year.Performance metrics may include but are not limited to:1. Garnering support from 200 YA donors through SDXO and DXO outreach2. 40% credit card rate for Strategic Phonathon Calling and Texting Efforts3. 200 alumni receipts from SDXOs from portfolio (including DXO) work and Strategic Phonathon Calling & Texting Efforts.50%-- Fundraising Project Management.Work with Assistant Director to develop and execute a highly personalized, high touch communication plan to meet established fundraising goals for alumni outreach efforts through SDXO work;Work with Assistant Director and/or University Communications to create communication materials, presentations, and collateral material needed to ensure SDXOs successfully close gifts;Work with Assistant Director and/or Development Systems team, as needed, to obtain lists for SDXO portfolios and mass phonathon outreach and to share demographic update reports; Ensure all actions are entered into alumni database in a timely manner;Work with Annual Giving team on mass outreach and specific messaging for Giving Days, Calendar Year-end, and Fiscal Year-end outreach.20%-- Portfolio Management.Execute an established communications cadence through calls, videos, emails, and social media channels to cultivate, solicit, and steward a predefined portfolio of constituents through established cadence(s);Ensure all actions, informational updates, and interests are entered into alumni database in a timely manner;Collaborate with Assistant Director, Director of Annual Giving, and/or Director of Prospect Development to transition identified donors for additional prospect management to create a pipeline;Provide exemplary customer service to alumni.Performance metrics may include but are not limited to:1. Facilitate 25 touchpoints, interactions, contacts per weeka. Including phone calls and zoom meetings2. Work involves choosing the appropriate option or procedure to follow and applying established rules and proceduresReports To: Assistant Director of Annual Giving for Philanthropy EducationWork is performed independently on routine work; non-routine issues or questions are referred to the supervisor.Education/Skill Requirements:Minimum qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for interaction with students, alumni, parents and friends of all ages.• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in written form, is required for ease of correspondence. Self-confidence, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills are desirable.• Strong knowledge of computers is required.• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize resources.Education/Skill Requirements Preferred:• Volunteer and/or staff management experience• Event management experienceWork Conditions:• Work is performed under usual office conditions.• During the Academic Year, work schedule will include occasional evening hours.
