JOB SUMMARY:
Master's Degree or coursework equivalent in counseling or clinical psychology, & currently enrolled as a doctoral student in an APA accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program.
JOB DUTIES:
45% - Essential - Delivers counseling and psychotherapy to clients in an individual, couples, and group format. Engages in triage, diagnostic interviewing, development and implementation of treatment plans. Provides crisis intervention and emergency services on-site and through on- call system. Conducts psychological evaluations to include administration and interpretation of assessment instruments as determined by the presenting problem. Provides clinical supervision to CIPPP Trainees.
30% - Essential - Participates in case conferences and all training seminars. Develops/implements outreaches. Completion or progress made on doctoral dissertation/doctoral research project. Completes intern research project. Receives clinical supervision and regular performance evaluations. Completes regular performance evaluations of CAPS supervisors. Attends and participates in other training and professional development activities as requested.
20% - Essential - Attendance at CAPS and SHS/RHC Staff meetings and functions. Participates in internal CAPS and RHC committees. Completion of documentation, chart maintenance in PNC, and writing assessment reports.
5% - Essential - Periodic on-call and after-hour duties as requested. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - None - Experience in a relevant program area.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Master's Degree or coursework equivalent in counseling or clinical psychology, & completion of program coursework and comprehensive examinations and has successfully proposed dissertation by the first day of internship.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range ($ 31,201.00- $ 36,000.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Essential Level 1 employee
Required to respond during an emergency closure or modified operations in order to provide the University's initial response to the emergency situation, including the execution of mission essential functions. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
