Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Associate United Community United Community is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Associate to support our Commercial Real Estate Team . In this role, you will oversee a team of Senior Commercial Banking Solutions Assistants and play a key part in managing loan portfolios across Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Banking, and Asset-Based Lending. What You’ll Do: Manage at least one Senior Commercial Banking Solutions Assistant Order appraisal bids, appraisals and provide Appraisal Department with subject property information Coordinate closing calls to review loan documents with Borrower’s and Lender’s counsel Carefully review draft of all loan documents with loan officer, then consult with Lender counsel on changes Ensure loan approval corresponds to loan documents Review insurance requirements prior to closing and ensure changes as needed Review all environmental reports, prepare environmental checklist and coordinate review of environmental reports when necessary Coordinate all loan documents for booking on loan bank system Ensure loan is properly booked after closing Ongoing portfolio maintenance/monitoring, as Requirements for Success: Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial institution handling commercial loans and loan closings Ability to coordinate several loan closings at once Excellent understanding of loan documents Excellent customer service skills Ability to manage and lead others Detail-oriented Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Conditions of Employment: Must be able to pass a criminal background & credit check This is a full-time, non-remote position FLSA Status: Exempt Ready to take your career to the next level?
