This position provides leadership in the organization or functional area and is primarily engaged in management activities that establish the direction of a department, function, or project. The position requires the application of knowledge gained from experience and expertise to the job duties and responsibilities. The position will make decisions in areas that may impact the organization and its employees, clients, budgets, policies, procedures, work practices, or compliance programs.
The purpose of this position is to provide oversight of the security function to create and sustain a productive work culture. Additionally, this position must respond to incidents, and protect the company’s interests while mitigating threats to the assigned area of responsibility.

Basic Job Requirements • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Prior crisis or emergency management experience
• Prior BCMP (Business Continuity Management Program) implementation experience
• Experience w/ Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to details and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Willingness to travel for extended periods of time (at least 30% travel)
Other Job Requirements • Assist as required in protecting the company from natural disasters, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, and other workplace incidents
• Provide support and analysis for business line proposals
• Assist with the implementation of countermeasure planning and management support through vulnerability analysis for engineering, procurement, and construction projects in domestic and overseas locations
• Investigate fraud, bomb threat, theft, embezzlement, ethics violations, conflict of interest, senior management issues, and other alleged wrongdoing
• Identify the need for both proprietary and contact guard forces
• Provide assistance as necessary to company chemical screening efforts
• Participate in the review, audit, surveys, and recommendations concerning security training, security awareness, residential security, office and project security, airport security, vehicular movement and route selection, counter surveillance, and threat assessments in overseas locations
• Provide travel information, country assessments, security intelligence, and assistance to all business travelers
• Provide support as required to corporate crisis management program
• Provide support as required to business continuity operations
• Provide executive protection as required
• Maintain liaison with local, state/province, and federal/national authority
• Coordinate and assist canine search operations
• Provide Federal Communications Commission for the company as required
• Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities, and timely performance feedback
• Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locations
• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
• Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
• May need to travel to attend to business related matters
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent plus twelve (12) years Security experience
• Prior military and/or contingency operations experience preferred
• International experience is preferred
• Multiple language fluency is preferred
• Knowledgeable of current security vulnerabilities and threats

Salary Range 118,500 to 213,500
Market Rate The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
