Forklift Operator -
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Forklift Operator for a company based in Greer , SC . This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in forklift operation and material handling within a dynamic industrial setting.
Pay Rate
$ 18.50 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts; promptly report any issues or malfunctions.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and secure loading practices.
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program.
Proficiency with RF scan guns, barcode scanners, or similar inventory management tools is essential
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of safety procedures for forklift operation and general warehouse safety
