A reputable marketing agency in Greenville, SC is hiring a Senior Manager of Finance & Administration. The ideal candidate has significant accounting and finance leadership experience with a professional services company. This is a direct hire position based in Downtown Greenville with a full-time, hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: - Finance & Accounting Oversight - Partner with the CFO to maintain accurate, timely financial records and reporting - Manage agency’s monthly close in partnership with accounting specialist - Oversee cash flow management for the operating account (predict and maintain minimum cash levels; initiate transfers as needed) - Review and approve bi-monthly hourly and salaried payroll - Confirm accuracy of 401(k) deductions and contribution uploads - Oversee bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations - Serve as a backup for invoicing processes and provide coverage during staff absences - Support Advantage system workflows and reporting consistency - Compliance & Administrative Leadership - Handle all insurance renewals and relationships (E&O, Cyber, General Liability, Auto, Workers' Comp) - Manage annual and quarterly tax filings (City of Greenville, SC Dept. of Revenue) - Submit and monitor compliance documentation including 401(k) rollovers and healthcare enrollments - Oversee workers comp projections and manage year-end audit documentation - Act as internal liaison with IT support for technology needs and service requests - Coordinate with city inspectors (e.g., fire code, safety compliance) - Operational Leadership & Support - Act as day-to-day financial and administrative lead for internal teams - Collaborate with Strategic Operations Supervisor to align finance processes with agency goals - Take ownership of administrative functions to reduce founder involvement - Build redundancy into key financial tasks such as invoicing and payments - Develop and maintain SOPs for recurring finance/admin functions - Help scope and lead process improvements across finance and operations Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative leadership - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across finance and operations - Solid understanding of payroll processing, benefit administration, and accounting workflows - Comfortable with both high-level strategy and hands-on execution - Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills - Experience managing agency financial metrics such as client profitability, staff utilization, or gross margin Benefits & Compensation: - $80,000 - $100,000 - Bonus structure - Unlimited PTO - Paid holidays - Employer sponsored health insurance - Contributing retirement
