Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:  Coach and mentor supervisors on employee performance concerns and provide support and guidance in regard to employee coaching and/or corrective actions. Ensure supervisors are issuing fair and consistent performance reviews and regular feedback on performance to employees. Ensure supervisors and/or team leads are conducting daily Tier 1 meetings, including safety talks, quality alerts, and all other Tier 1 communication.   Ensures all production key measurable targets are met or exceeded.   Form cross functional teams as required if any targets are not met, perform root cause analysis, and create an action plan to meet targets.   Lead Tier 3 meeting with all department leads on the off-shift to ensure all customer requirements are met and, as needed, escalate concerns to Department Managers.  Point of contact for any major disruption which includes but is not limited to major downtime, major quality issues, high scrap, on-time delivery issues, etc.  Communication: Ensures incoming and outgoing production shift issues are well understood and communicated.  Communication: Prepare, present, production information S.Q.D.C.M. at Tier 3 meetings. Ensure supervisors are adhering to the Employee Handbook and administering polices in accordingly.  ​POSITION REQUIREMENTS ​PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Manufacturing Environment: 80% standing and walking the production floor. Physically fit and able to lift 25-35 pounds. Sits, walks, or stands for prolonged periods of time. EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a combination of an equivalent Technical Degree/Certification and experience. WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:  5+ years of relevant experience in a Class-A automotive manufacturing environment required.  3+ years of relevant prior supervisory/management experience of assembly Class-A automotive experience preferredWHY WORK HERE?Health Insurance (includes telemedicine, FSA, HSA, and other benefits)Dental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with matchEmployee Profit Sharing PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition ReimbursementReferral Program - Up to $1,000 per hired referralOnsite cafeteria with multiple fresh-cooked options and salad bar, and fully stocked breakrooms throughout plantAnnual events (Summer cookout, Christmas party, etc.)Onsite Nurses' officeOnsite Mother's roomPay range: $65,000 - $85,000 annualVISA SPONSORSHIP NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION#LI-JC1 #LI-VS1 #LI-OnsiteAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
