JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as the lead procurement specialist for the College of Architecture, Art, and Construction (CAAC), overseeing procurement/purchasing, and compliance. Will cross-train with other members of department and complete other duties, as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
45% - Essential - Procurement Operations:
Serves as the college's subject matter expert on all procurement systems and regulations and acts as the liaison to the University's Procurement and Contract Administration office. Responsible for processing requisitions through BuyWays, manages and reconciles travel/expense reports via Concur, and oversees faculty, staff, student, and non-employee reimbursements. Manages vendor relationships, oversees marketplace applications/transactions, and provides training and oversight on procurement tools and procedures.
35% - Essential - P-Card Administration: Manages all college P-Cards, ensuring compliance, accountability, and timely reconciliation. Trains and advises cardholders on policy compliance, supporting documentation requirements, and monthly reconciliation procedures. Reviews and audits transactions, assigns appropriate chartfields, and prepares monthly reconciliation reports. Coordinates with the university's P-Card office on audits, exceptions, and corrective actions.
10% - Essential - Department Support and Records Management: Ensures all members of department are notified of procurement changes/updates. Assists faculty and staff with purchasing questions, training on systems and processes as needed. Ensures all current backup is loaded on the share drive and reconciled monthly by department. Reviews the university records management policies and follows protocol on financial record keeping as needed. Manages and maintains the DAT inventory system for assigned departments and acts as the CAAC lead for inventory questions and processes to ensure compliance.
10% - Essential - Web Invoices/IDOs: Tracks and completes web invoices for external billing and IDOs for internal billing mechanisms for the department. May confer with internal and external customers for data confirmation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - A high school diploma and professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - A Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range ($ 38,985.00 - $ 55,000.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
