Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Choral Teacher. The position is located in the Oconee, Pickens, Anderson, South Carolina area. The Choral Teacher will be responsible for planning and conducting choral rehearsals, developing lesson plans, teaching vocal techniques, and preparing students for performances. The teacher will also be required to evaluate student progress, communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff, and participate in school events and activities.
Qualifications
• Skills in Lesson Planning and Education
• Proficient in Communication and Teaching
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Bachelor's degree in Music Education-Choral
• State certification or licensure for teaching choral music in SC
• Prior experience in teaching choral music is a preferred
• Piano proficient
• Knowledge of and experience with developing adolescent voices
