• Function as a consultant to patients, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality palliative care, including pain and symptom management.
• Evaluate, certify, and recertify terminal prognosis at admission and during certification periods.
• Serve on the Professional Advisory Committee and conduct educational seminars to healthcare professionals.
• Provide consultation for acute clinical issues and participate in joint visits when needed.
