Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian. The position is located in Greenville, South Carolina. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, including performing surgeries, diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting regular check-ups, as well as dentistry. Additionally, the role involves counseling pet owners regarding the care and treatment of their animals, maintaining medical records, and collaborating with other veterinary staff.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Valid state veterinary license
• Clinical skills in surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry
• Experience with or willingness to learn about emergency and urgent care
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
• Experience with record-keeping software and maintaining accurate medical records
