A local government organization is seeking a temp-to-hire candidate for a Compensation and Payroll Specialist role. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in payroll, proficiency with HRIS systems, and preferably experience in compensation analysis. Responsibilities: - Process bi-weekly payroll - Assist with maintaining compensation databases - Assist with market pricing and analysis - Support accuracy of position control - Support performance management processes - Track and report on HR statistics - Provide general HR support Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in HR Management, Accounting, or related field - 2+ years of experience in payroll/compensation - Experience with HRIS platform - Proficiency with Excel - Knowledge of comp systems and analysis - Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws around compensation Compensation: - $28/hr - $33/hr
