Teacher Assistant
Health Advocates Network is seeking a Teacher Assistant to work at a Facility in Greenwood, SC. This is a registry position with our company.
Responsibilities
Support the lead teacher with classroom activities and instruction
Work with small groups or individual students as needed
Help manage student behavior and maintain a safe, supportive environment
Assist with classroom organization, materials, and supervision
Support students during transitions to other classrooms or activities
Communicate effectively with the teacher and team members
Qualifications
Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Teacher Assistant
Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field
Valid teaching certificate in special education
Experience Working With Students With Disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Must have up to date certification in the state of SC
Must possess SC sped certification and be available for onsite services.
