World Upside Down Arts Studio (WUDAS) offers classes in music, visual arts, dance, and theater. We're getting ready to launch an arts-integrated ABA therapy program for our autistic students.
History
World Upside Down (WUD) was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2013 with a mission to make arts education accessible and affordable to students K-12 around the world. WUDAS builds upon the WUD brand and mission as a for-profit venture, owned and operated by Joanna and Jairo Puello.
Founder and Owners
Joanna Puello, WUDAS Founder and Director, has 25+ years of experience as an educator, nonprofit founder and director, instructional designer, and project manager. She plays the piano and violin and has participated as an actress and director in multiple theater productions. Jairo Puello, WUDAS owner and advisor, has 25+ years of experience as an educator, nonprofit director, sales and customer service manager, and small business owner as an INDIE music artist. Their combined expertise and passion make them the perfect team for this new venture.
Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Greenville, SC
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary: $20.00 - $24.00/hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Greenville, SC. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans and provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to clients.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during sessions.
• Assist in the development of skills for daily living and social interactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Active RBT certification.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. You will only drive to our location at World Upside Down Arts Studio located at 1200 Woodruff Road, Building H7, Greenville, SC 29607. Services will be rendered at the studio.

• Flexible scheduling options. Core hours are 8:00am - 2:00pm but we may be open until 6:00pm as well. Therapy sessions will only be held at our location.
