Business Intelligence Intern

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will assist in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to support operational improvements within our manufacturing processes. You’ll work closely with internal teams to develop basic dashboards, gain experience using ERP systems, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
KEY TASKS
• Assist in collecting and organizing operational and financial data.
• Support the development of simple Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Help monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on basic data projects.
• Learn to navigate ERP systems and extract useful insights.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Interest in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement.
• Coursework or experience in data analytics, business, or related fields.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
May occasionally be exposed to a manufacturing environment, including loud noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds and remain active on the manufacturing floor when needed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools through coursework or projects.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and key operational metrics is helpful.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate across departments.
