What You Get To Do
• Inspect incoming parts and materials using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Document and report non-conformances; initiate and track Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Support supplier quality improvement and trend analysis efforts.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to manage defective material returns.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and 14001 compliance through inspections, audits, and accurate record-keeping.
• Conduct internal audits and support cross-departmental quality initiatives.
• Perform SAP transactions to maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation.
What You Need To Succeed
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with quality inspection responsibilities.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Intermediate computer skills; experience with SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 required; ISO 14001 exposure a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems collaboratively, and follow detailed procedures.
