Position Information:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and supporting the restoration process from initial contact through estimate approval. This role is the first point of contact for reconstruction jobs and plays a vital role in selling the job, setting expectations, and establishing trust with property owners and insurance representatives. The Account Manager gathers necessary project documentation, scopes losses, and maintains ongoing communication with customers and internal teams. This role does not involve writing full estimates but supports internal estimating and sales processes by collecting detailed documentation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
• Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned customer accounts and new losses
• Conduct thorough site inspections for fire, water, mold, or storm-related property damage
• Capture detailed documentation and photos using tools like DocuSketch and mobile apps
• Submit complete scope details and documentation to the Desk Estimator for estimate development
• Support the estimating process by communicating scope changes, supplements, or updates as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, adjusters, and third-party partners
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with internal teams, including project managers, mitigation, and reconstruction crews
• Ensure accurate job file documentation and timely updates in job management systems
• Represent Paul Davis with professionalism and a customer-first approach
• Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent required, Previous experience in restoration, construction, or insurance claims preferred, Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, Familiarity with DocuSketch, mobile field documentation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in the field, Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or the equivalent. Preferred at least one year reconstruction experience.
Special Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information quickly. General math skills. Ability to use personal computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets.
Physical Demands:
Ability to walk, climb, crouch, and navigate confined or damaged spaces, Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, Use of smartphones/tablets and cameras for documentation purposes
Work Environment:
This position is field-based and involves daily travel to residential and commercial properties that may be in various states of damage. Personal protective equipment will be provided as needed.
