SUMMARY OF POSITION:
EMS liaison is responsible for managing and fostering collaborative relationships with our EMS partners to facilitate optimal transitions of care, build and drive new clinical initiatives, and grow EMS volume Community Educator - responsible for the development and implementation of multiple educational programs. Supports all clinical accreditation programs such as the Joint Commission certified Stroke Program, Heart Failure Program, PCI/Chest Pain program, Sepsis, and Emergency Management Programs. Responsibilities include the provision of teaching for ACLS, BLS, and PALS for the hospital, community, and school programs such as the stop the bleed campaign for Berks County. Environment of Care / Inventory Specialist for Emergency Services Provides ongoing updates of supplies and inventory specific for Emergency Services, including the capital projects related to Emergency Services. Works with community providers to address educational needs / equipment in a collaborative approach.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
• Paramedic or RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Five (5) years full time prehospital/EMS experience. An RN should hold a certification as a prehospital RN.
• Valid PA Drivers License required.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
• Instructor certification preferred.
