Mission : The purpose of Family Services is to assist individuals, families, and the community in meeting the complexities of daily living by fostering the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and promote healthy, independent personal development, and responsible social functioning. Job Description: The therapist provides high-quality, confidential, and affordable outpatient mental health services to adults in an outpatient setting. Clinicians work a 4-day work week with every Friday off, working 35-40 hours per week. They address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, relational, environmental and/or biological issues or concerns. The ideal candidate will be trauma-informed and strength-based, a compassionate listener, and is dedicated to supporting the personal growth needs of their clientele. They will be culturally competent and unbiased in all situations and have the skills to build a rapport with clients that are diverse in race, culture, religion, economic resources, sexual orientation, gender identity, and abilities. Requirements: They must possess a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or mental health counselling or related mental health discipline. Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred. New graduates with clinical field placement that includes supervision are encouraged to apply.
