This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be responsible for everything marketing from big picture brand strategy to day-to-day execution. You’ll work directly with company ownership, collaborate closely with the sales team, and lead a junior marketing team member. Sometimes you’ll be doing the work yourself and sometimes you’ll be guiding others but you're always the one making sure it gets done right! We’re not a big corporate office. What You’ll Do: Lead and execute all marketing efforts across print, digital, social, and branding Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to support lead generation, customer engagement, and sales tools Take high quality product and lifestyle photos and videos for social media, brochures, website, and signage Manage and grow our social media presence, especially Facebook Create and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, sell sheets, banners, and presentations Oversee and update the company website, with basic HTML/CSS or CMS knowledge preferred Drive and manage a full rebranding effort with a new look, messaging, and signage Mentor a junior marketing team member by helping build their skills and delegate work Write and edit content for web, print, and social Research and apply current marketing trends, tools, and best practices to keep our approach fresh and effective Be onsite full-time to coordinate with the team and access products, people, and shop activity for content Qualifications 3–7+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a small or mid-sized business Proven ability to lead marketing strategy and execute across channels (digital, print, social) Strong photography and video production skills (portfolio required) Experience managing and growing social media platforms, especially Facebook Working knowledge of website management (basic HTML/CSS, CMS like WordPress, etc.) Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish Comfortable working independently and making decisions in a fast-moving, lean environment Experience mentoring or training others, even informally Preferred: Experience with rebranding or brand development Background in product marketing or marketing physical goods Familiarity with email marketing, SEO, or basic digital advertising Prior experience collaborating with sales teams or aligning marketing with sales goals Interest or experience in outdoor, marine, or lifestyle product industries Why Join Us?
