Position Overview At The Blood Connection, creativity fuels our mission to save lives by providing safe, adequate and cost-effective blood supplies to healthcare partners. We are seeking a Graphic Designer who brings bold ideas to life through compelling visuals across print, digital, and experiential platforms. This role is ideal for a motivated designer with a strong foundation in graphic design principles who’s ready to take ownership of projects, contribute fresh ideas, and make a meaningful impact. You will help shape the visual storytelling that drives our brand and lifesaving mission forward every day. Essential Functions Responsible for art direction and graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, Design and execute engaging visual content across multiple platforms, including print materials, digital campaigns, websites, social media, events, and email marketing. Evolve and maintain brand consistency, ensuring all touchpoints reflect our brand identity and messaging. Manage design projects from concept through delivery, balancing creativity with attention to deadlines and production standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, recruitment, and leadership teams to understand project objectives and deliver solutions that meet strategic goals. Work with external vendors, printers, and partners to ensure high-quality production and execution of printed and promotional materials. Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, continually bringing new ideas and innovation to the team. Other duties as assigned or required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. 2–5 years of professional design experience (agency or in-house environment preferred). Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, layout, typography, and digital design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus. Familiarity with web and digital design tools such as Figma or basic HTML/CSS knowledge (preferred but not required). Understanding of UX/UI principles and how design impacts user experience, especially for email marketing and websites. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual. Solution-oriented, proactive, and collaborative with a positive, professional attitude.
