Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with all production and facility equipment. This role involves performing routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure quality standards are met. Daily documentation is required, and the technician will also assist with equipment changeovers and support production as needed.
Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair issues with production and facility equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment quality and minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities daily.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and support production operations.
Essential Skills • Proficiency in electrical systems, pneumatics, motors, drives, and schematics.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and use a multimeter effectively.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical skills accounting for 70% of tasks.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience checking for blown fuses.
• Capability to use a multi-meter.
• 3-5 years or more of industrial maintenance experience.

Work Environment The work environment is industrial and non-climate controlled but clean. The position follows a 2-2-3 shift pattern from 6 PM to 6 AM, with training on day shifts for 4-6 weeks. A shift differential is offered once permanent.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
