3rd Shift Operations Supervisor FW
Essential Duties And Responsibilites
The following experiences and skills are applicable, but not limited to:
• Ensures adherence to Safety and Quality program, company work rules, policies and procedures through timely and appropriate use of discipline for all employees.
• Direct and indirect oversight of the entire operation with support from all department managers.
• Ensures GMP's and good housekeeping standards are maintained throughout areas of responsibility.
• Reviews and reacts to systems line control data to ensure compliance with specifications and Good Manufacturing practices.
• Responsible for minimizing product and/or material loss through cooperative action with personnel.
• Recommends and implements procedures to promote safety, quality and efficiency.
• Promotes efficient use of available personnel through training and expectation setting. Use skills matrix to develop plan.
• Maintains positive employee/departmental relationships that are aligned with the company values.
• Promptly escalates known or anticipated problems to Operations Manager.
• Equipment/Personnel evaluations for both efficiency gains and Sanitation opportunities.
• Demonstrates commitment to continued personal and professional growth.
• Exercises tact and discretion in interpersonal contacts
• Respects confidentiality of privileged information.
Knowledge/Skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 5-10 years of Supervisory or Leadership experience in manufacturing preferably in food and beverage.
• Note: Experience can be substituted for education.
• Good problem-solving ability with successful experience in a team building environment.
• Troubleshooting expertise in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
