Position Summary
The Business Systems Specialist serves as a strategic liaison between operational teams and enterprise technology platforms. Reporting directly to the ERP Administrator, this role is integral to the ongoing refinement and support of business systems. Responsibilities include the comprehensive analysis of business requirements, translation of operational needs into functional system enhancements, and proactive monitoring of system performance. This position demands advanced analytical capabilities, collaborative acumen, and a deep understanding of Business Central and related Microsoft business applications.
Core Responsibilities
• Foster effective partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize system performance and user experience.
• Achieve and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Business Central architecture and interrelated systems to identify inefficiencies and propose well-informed solutions.
• Provide tier-one technical support, including root cause analysis and interim resolution strategies, during business and extended support hours.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business workflows, use cases, process dependencies, and functional requirements.
• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance system performance using data-driven approaches and stakeholder input.
• Escalate complex technical issues in collaboration with ERP Administrator, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Conduct performance reviews with business units to gather feedback and recommend targeted enhancements.
• Contribute to resource planning and workload distribution in alignment with departmental priorities.
• Design and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to support decision-making, transparency, and operational insights.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related field (required)
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise systems support, ERP administration, or business systems analysis.
• Experience with multi-platform environments and integrated ERP solutions is strongly preferred.
