Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Deduction Analyst on behalf of our client, a global manufacturer of electrical and electronic products. This senior-level role plays a critical part in managing accounts receivable processes by reviewing, analyzing, and resolving deduction claims. The ideal candidate will bring experience in collections, pricing, and rebate programs, along with strong communication and system skills to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Investigate and resolve customer deductions related to pricing, collections, and rebate programs (ship & debit, marketing allowances).
•
Analyze disputes using SAP AR and customer feedback to determine resolution actions.
•
Manage phone and email communication with customers to validate, resolve, or escalate deduction issues.
•
Process electronic customer transactions, including EDI 844/849.
•
Update SAP with accurate deduction resolution data and payback status.
•
Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to reconcile discrepancies.
•
Maintain detailed documentation of all deduction cases and resolution steps.
•
Support reporting and tracking of deduction trends for process improvement initiatives.
Requirements include:
Education:
•
Degree is preferred but not required; candidates with relevant work experience will be considered.
Experience:
•
3–5 years of experience in deductions, pricing, collections, or AR processes in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
Skills:
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•
Experience communicating directly with customers via phone and email.
Certifications:
•
None required; certifications in AR or finance-related fields are a plus.
Knowledge:
•
Familiarity with SAP AR and deduction resolution workflows.
•
Understanding of ship & debit pricing, rebate programs, and marketing allowances.
•
Experience with EDI (844/849 transactions) preferred.
