HVAC Technician - Commercial / Industrial

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role involves working with complex equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
Core Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC, refrigeration, and ductwork systems including:
• Chillers
• Rooftop units (RTUs)
• Heating systems and heat pumps
• Boilers
• Air conditioning units
• Walk-in coolers and freezers
• Ice machines
• Electric motors
• Intake and exhaust fans
• Economizers and humidifiers
• Remote condensing units
• System Operations:
• Diagnose and repair complex HVAC systems
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Operate diagnostic and testing equipment
• Manage hazardous materials safely
• Complete required documentation
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years hands-on Industrial-Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration experience
• EPA certification: Type I / Type II or Universal
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with computers, tablets, and smartphones
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read technical documentation
• Excellence in customer service and communication
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs
• Safely climb 300 lb load capacity rated ladders
• Stand, walk, balance, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
• Work in various environmental conditions:
• Hot/cold temperatures
• Indoor/outdoor settings
• Humid environments
• Heights and confined spaces
• Slippery surfaces
Preferred Qualifications
• Formal HVAC training completion
• Chiller Service Experience
