Job Summary
The Patient Care Representative II serves as a liaison between patients and their families to ensure services provided are correct based on identified patient care orders, as well as, working closely with hospital staff to ensure support services address the needs of, and overall coordination of care for the patient is completed to ensure patient safety and satisfaction requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
• Require an associate degree; relevant administrative work experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the required degree.
• Require a minimum of three (3) years of administrative work experience preferably in a hospital or outpatient healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to effectively use commonly known computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Prefer demonstrated basic understanding of medical terminology.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to perform public speaking when needed.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
