Your Role as Director of School Services
• IEP Compliance & Educational Collaboration: Partner with educational and clinical leadership to ensure full compliance with IEP requirements and Department of Education regulations, while actively participating in IEP meetings and documentation.
• Family & Community Engagement: Foster strong parent-school relationships through regular communication, involvement in behavior planning, and development of parent/community engagement initiatives.
• Staff Development & Training: Assess staff training needs and coordinate professional development programs to build competencies in areas such as child abuse reporting protocols and crisis intervention techniques.
• Operational Oversight & Safety Compliance: Oversee student attendance and truancy processes, ensure safe and clean facilities in collaboration with operations teams, and maintain adherence to safety practices and PPE protocols.
• Program Leadership & Initiative Implementation: Lead the rollout of school initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and student needs.
• Admissions & Student Management: Manage student referrals, admissions, and disenrollments in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations and internal policies.
• Professional Networking & Confidentiality: Represent the program in community and district networking efforts while upholding FERPA and internal confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications
• Educational Credentials: Master’s degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Social Work, or a related field required.
• Licensure & Certification: Possess either Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
• Leadership Experience: Minimum of two years in a leadership role supporting children with learning and behavioral challenges, demonstrating the ability to manage teams and drive program success.
