Entry level Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Growing manufacturer in Sarasota is seeking an entry level Quality Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1-2 years of quality experience in manufacturing. Co-op/ internship experience wiill be considered. Previous experience in medical device manufacturing preferred as well as familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
• Work in cross-functional teams to support product quality, ensure regulatory compliance and manage documentation
• Contribute to the design, development and implementation of product Quality Assurance plans
• Conduct product evaluation and failure analysis by taking component measurements, evaluating drawings and specifications
• Collect production data, analyzing outputs, and determining corrective courses of action to promote quality and efficiency
• Evaluate and analyze quality metrics and product feedback to determine solutions
• Participate in safety and internal audits and activities; help lead root cause analysis for CAPA projects
• Support Quality Control in containment, investigation, and resolution of non-conformances
• Maintain nonconforming database, support equipment calibration and calibration nonconformity investigations
• Support the test review and verification of protocols and reports for validations
Requirements
• B.S. in Engineering or similar field
• Previous experience with quality engineering in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations
• Experience with medical device manufacturing preferred
• Excellent project management, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office software
