Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary
Growing manufacturer in Sarasota is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment, as well as knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements on healthcare products. Experience with CAD/Solidworks as well as strong project management skills required.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
• Perform engineering duties in support of manufacturing departments/processes and evaluate new manufacturing processes for efficiency
• Perform validation of manufacturing equipment.
• Implement product changes due to engineering updates and new product introductions.
• Manage project schedules, including creating, updating, and maintaining work instructions, as well as processing engineering changes.
• Responsible for regulatory compliance, problem resolution and supporting changes in production methods and rates.
• Resolve quality problems, certify and validate processes·Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve workplace safety in the areas of support.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• At least 3-5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of healthcare products and their regulatory requirements (UL, FDA, ISO and others).
• Demonstrated understanding of lean deployment and measurement.
• Experience with launching new products.
• Experience with fundamentals of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, weld, paint, plating and assembly.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Familiarity with Time PRO or other manufacturing execution software.
