Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, located in Venice, FL. The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft structures, systems, and components. The mechanic will also ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and complying with all regulatory and safety standards. In addition, the mechanic will keep detailed and accurate maintenance records. This is general aviation (Cessna, Pipers, Mooneys, etc) with some king airs, citations, etc.
Qualifications
• Skills in Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Systems
• MUST BE MECHANICALLY INCLINED
• Capable of doing logbook review
• Experience in general aviation preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities MUST BE ABLE TO PULL WEIGHT AND HUSTLE
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to take directives
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER
• A&P Certification from the FAA
• Relevant experience in the aviation industry is preferred
• Military experience is a plus
• IA is a plus, but newly licensed candidates are welcome to apply too
• MUST HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE and willingness to learn/improve
