HQ Program Fellow
Summary
esp is looking to hire a Program Fellow for our full-time team. The Program Fellow role is structured to provide learning and hands-on experience in nonprofit work to a new professional while helping esp advance its mission. The esp Program Fellow will support the planning, execution, and evaluation of key programs, working closely with Coordinators and Senior Staff to drive programmatic goals across all 4 cities. This role involves assisting with project management, helping to build relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the success of programs across the state. The fellow will gain hands-on experience in program development and implementation, data analysis, and organizational operations, contributing to the overall success of the community’’s team and Programs Department.

Top Five Responsibilities
• Plan, support, and implement Experience, Purpose, and Support programs across all sites.
• Work with HQ to evaluate communities’ effectiveness in executing programs through data collection.
• Aid in administrative tasks esp’s family emails, data collection, reporting, and family payments.
• Assist in the implementation of new key initiatives in programming.
• Engage with community stakeholders, partners, and volunteers, helping to strengthen relationships and raise awareness about esp’s work.
Detailed Responsibilities
Research and Data Collection
• Research to support the development or evaluation of programs.
• Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes, impact, and effectiveness.
• Help draft reports, case studies, or presentations that showcase program results.
Program Support and Implementation
• Assist in the planning, development, and execution of various programs and initiatives.
• Help monitor and track program activities to ensure they meet objectives and timelines.
• Provide logistical support for events, workshops, or training sessions.
• Work directly with program participants and families.
Collaboration with the Programs team
• Participate in team meetings, offering insights and ideas to develop, improve and refine program operations.
• Build relationships with community partners, donors, and collaborators to further the program’s objectives.
Capacity Building and Professional Development
• Receive mentoring, training, and opportunities to build skills in nonprofit management, program evaluation, and other relevant areas.
• Attend workshops or learning sessions to enhance fellows’ understanding of the nonprofit sector.
Job Expectations
• Each fellow will report to HQ, but will be expected to travel to all locations as needed. Travel will be at least 60% of the role to adequately support other esp communities.
• Fellows will be given Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track their progress and improvement for communities.
• Fellows should be open to learning and receiving feedback, as this role is a learning role to help prepare them for growth within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications & Physical Requirements
• College Degree
• Desire to work in nonprofit sector
• Ability to travel
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds
• Ability to work nontraditional hours/evenings/weekends, depending on program schedule
Job Details
• Reports To: Director of Programs
• Location: esp HQ in Watkinsville, GA
• Annual Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000
• FLSA Status: Salaried, Exempt
