This is a temporary position.
The FLEX Senior Manager, Auto Room Assignment Acceptance Testing will provide operational input and PMS subject matter expertise to support business requirement testing for Auto Room Assignment (ARA) in the Agilysys STAY and Opera Cloud PMS products. This position also plays an active role in supporting defect management and the future PMS strategy, including providing input into design, testing, training, deployment, and support.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; OR a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge can be gained.
5+ years of hotel systems experience or other relevant experiences using LightSpeed PMS, FOSSE, FSPMS, and/or Opera
Experience working with international teams and supporting global systems and operational processes
Preferred
FOSSE, LSPMS, FSPMS & Opera V5.6 property management experience
Hospitality leadership experience
Experience with other Marriott Property Management Systems, including LightSpeed, FSPMS, and Opera
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Write acceptance test scenarios and scripts based on IDD.
Conduct comprehensive testing, including business flow testing, to validate system functionality and identify gaps.
Document testing results and provide pass/fail outcomes for user testing.
Validate business processes and training from the user’s perspective.
Update Jira bugs, monitor defect solutions, and attend Defect Triage Calls.
Retest and validate solutions from the PMS Vendor.
Execute acceptance test scenarios in Zephyr Tests, update Jira stories, and log defects.
Communicate issues to the test lead that may impact schedule, budget, or quality.
Analyze and document current and future business processes, identifying improvements.
Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to implement and test requirements.
Document user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile environment.
Develop and maintain functional, integration, and testing requirements, ensuring adherence to change control processes.
Create and govern test plans for User Functionality testing.
Support the development team by clarifying requirements and addressing design issues.
Identify creative solutions to business requirements and provide recommendations.
The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $56.83 per hour.
