Entry-Level Permit Technician

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Working closely with our Project Managers to help keep projects running smoothly
• Handling permit processing and ensuring everything is on track
• Answering phone calls and directing visitors with a friendly, professional approach
• Organizing calendars, schedules, and appointments to help keep things running efficiently
• Creating and managing spreadsheets, presentations, and other project-related documents
• Keeping an organized filing system to ensure we stay on top of everything
• Doing internet research to gather info for projects
• Updating reports and entering data as needed
• Learning new software, industry practices, and building relationships with the team
• Getting familiar with the construction process to better support the projects
• Scheduling inspections and ensuring everything is on schedule

• Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized, even when things get busy
• A love for technology and experience with tools like Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint) and Google Chrome
• A willingness to pick up new skills and learn about the construction industry
• A team player who enjoys working together to solve problems
