· AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.

The role you’ll contribute:
To perform duties related to the preparation of food supportive of the department operation.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Reports to work in a regular and timely fashion
· Performs all work on production sheets in a timely fashion so as to meet meal deadlines.
· Maintains personal hygiene and neatness according to departmental standards.
· Performs proper handwashing techniques according to departmental standards
· Utilizes gloves according to departmental standards
· Uses hair restraints according to departmental standards.
· Utilizes clean aprons, towels and bleach buckets as needed.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· High School graduate preferred.
· At least 2 years’ experience in cooking in an institutional setting.
