Analyst II, Digital Strategy
Summary:
The Digital Strategy Analyst II, is responsible for working closely with the Digital Strategy team members to design, execute, measure, and refine Resurgent’s customer-facing digital collections strategies. The analyst will play an active role in transforming customer and account related data into actionable insights to develop and scale new business strategies. The position is specifically suited to analytical thinkers with an educational or experiential background in business or finance looking to directly impact both financial performance and customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead well-defined projects designed to increase ROI by implementing experiments and new strategies in Resurgent’s digital collections ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Digital Communications and Digital Strategy team members to define new leading indicators and KPIs to evaluate the engagement and financial performance of new business strategies.
• Identify and monitor key performance metrics that should be impacted by a strategy change, and create queries, reports, and/or data visualizations to assess the monetary and non-monetary impacts of strategic changes.
• Create presentation materials to quantify and communicate performance results to all stakeholders, evidencing diligence in investigating unexpected results.
• Build the digital collections intuition required to independently leverage Resurgent’s extensive historical and current data assets to identify additional net value-creation opportunities. Quantify the potential value-add and build business cases to justify their execution.
• Locate, gather, and analyze distributed data (online & offline) for applicability, completeness, and quality to serve as input to customer-facing email, SMS/Text, or social media campaigns.
• Develop subject matter expertise in Resurgent’s proprietary software application stack used to create, schedule, execute, and monitor digital collections campaigns.
• Execute and maintain a complex set of business rules to administer daily campaigns to create customer engagement and elicit channel preference. Monitor production reporting and alert mechanisms for anomalies and investigate as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience working with large datasets (>10M records) in SQL-based languages (SSMS, SparkSQL)
• 2-4 years experience using data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) to convey complex data relationships at-a-glance, preference for data visualization tools connected to dynamic data sources for real-time reporting (enterprise data gateways, DirectQuery, Azure Stream)
• 1+ years experience with inventory decision engine/compliance rules engine logic or software
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment, agile, source control) and A/B testing methodologies
• Strong desire to learn and passion for using analytics to solve real-world problems
• Proficient understanding of collections and credit/banking industries
• Ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and opinions professionally in written and verbal communication and across cross-functional teams
• Exceptional organizational skills, able to multitask and appropriately prioritize workload in a fast paced, resource constrained environment
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Quarterly travel for training and remote office visits
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, or related quantitative field; Advanced degree or combination of education and experience preferred
