Position Description
Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Inspector ensures all standards of service and cleanliness are maintained by Room Attendants and housemen. Report all vacant and clean rooms using the phone system. In each room, as inspected. As a Housekeeping Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting daily inspections of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Team, including the guest rooms and public areas.
Essential Duties

• Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye.
• Accountable to all standards outlined in the We-Ko-Pa Way Casino Resort service guide.
• Responsible for the inspections of a minimum of twenty to fifty rooms each shift. Must always exhibit the highest of customer service qualities.
• Required to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, vendors, and team members.
• Must report all maintenance issues as needed in each room and follow up on these issues to make sure they are repaired to standard.
• Assign carpet spotting to housemen as needed in the hallways and rooms. Follow up on the assigned projects given to each houseman.
• Make sure that the correct labels are on the cleaning chemicals and that the chemicals are properly used. Check assigned VIP rooms and showrooms to make sure standards are met.
• Conduct inventory and office supplies.
• Ability to learn new operating systems or knowledge of computers.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• You can prioritize your work, manage your time, and work quickly without compromising quality.
• Ability to work with little supervision, maintain a high level of performance, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Performs other related duties as required by the department.
• Follows all health and safety guidelines to ensure 100% compliance.
• Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and push or pull 100.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
• Hear, reach, see, and walk for 67-100% of the workday.
• Eye/hand coordination for 67-100% of the workday.
• Exposure to dust/smoke for 67-100% of the workday.
• Stand for 80-90% of the workday.
• Bend and twist for 1-33% of the workday.
• While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to high levels of noise daily.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Housekeeper. Preferably in a resort or hotel environment
Indian Preference
Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
