Vice President Asset Management
As Vice President of Asset Management, the candidate will oversee the entire spectrum of asset management for a growing portfolio of new development/construction deals as well as management of new lease ups and existing, stabilized assets within the portfolio. Additionally, the candidate will be intricately involved in transaction efforts for portfolio assets, including refinancings, recapitalizations and dispositions.

General Roles And Responsibilities
• Monitor the construction, lease-up, compliance, and on-going management for a portfolio of assigned properties.
• Responsible for portfolio modeling, valuation, summary analysis and presentation to internal and external customers (executive leadership, investment committee, capital partners, lenders, etc.).
• Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams (i.e. affiliated property management company) to oversee leasing and budgeting for the portfolio while reporting internally and externally significant strategic shifts or variances.
• Significant involvement in capital raising efforts and investor relations through the creation of presentations, responding to diligence questions, and attending meetings with capital partners.
• Oversee the portfolio model including inputting information, formulating achievable market rate rent levels and model assumptions for assets, and running various investment scenarios.
• Responsible for hold vs. sell recommendations as well as helping manage the refinancing, recapitalization, or disposition of properties.
• Engage, manage and review yearly appraisals of properties within the portfolio.
• Prepare quarterly and annual asset, portfolio and market reports for investors while working with accounting and development to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Respond to special requests for information from investor and capital clients in a professional manner and on an expedited basis.
• Conduct periodic property and market tours and report findings.
• Assist with operating budgets, tax returns and annual audits for assets in the portfolio.
• Establish and manage relationships with all entities and agencies involved with assets, including capital providers, major vendors, and third-party consultants.
Requirements
• +/- 7 years of Commercial Real Estate experience, including Asset Management and/or Portfolio Management experience.
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
• Must have excellent attention to detail and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have strong analytical skills appropriate for this position and for the tasks assigned by the Managing Director of Investment Management
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Should possess strong interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Must be a strong collaborator as the performance of responsibilities will require extensive coordination with a team of analysts and associates, as well as property management, accounting, acquisitions, investor relations and development.
