External Facilities Revenue Coordinator Kentucky Wesleyan College seeks an entrepreneurial external facilities revenue coordinator to expand third-party rentals of campus venues—athletic fields, theaters, conference rooms, residence halls, and green spaces. Serving as the single point of contact for external clients, the coordinator will prospect, negotiate, and finalize rental agreements while mobilizing campus resources to deliver a seamless event experience. This is a commission-based appointment; earnings depend entirely on the rental revenue the Coordinator generates. Key Responsibilities Revenue generation – build and manage a sales pipeline that exceeds annual rental targets; develop new markets such as sports tournaments, corporate retreats, film shoots, and community events. Client management – guide clients from first inquiry through post-event follow-up; draft and route contracts in partnership with college finance and legal teams. Operational coordination – confirm space availability, reserve support services, and ensure events comply with the college’s on-campus activity agreement, including the standard overhead fee for facilities and maintenance. Compliance and risk – verify insurance certificates, permits, and adherence to safety, ADA, NCAA, and campus regulations. Data and reporting – maintain CRM records, produce monthly revenue dashboards, and forecast pipeline health for the chief of staff and facilities team. Minimum Qualifications Three or more years of successful B2B sales or venue-rental experience with documented revenue growth. Proficiency with CRM software and virtual-meeting platforms; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and thrive in a performance-based environment. Preferred Qualifications A network in sports/event management, hospitality, or nonprofit sectors. Knowledge of higher-education facilities operations or community-use policies. Familiarity with liability insurance, event permitting, and ADA compliance. Working Conditions Remote, on-campus, or hybrid environment at the candidate’s choice; evening and weekend availability is expected to meet client schedules. Occasional lifting of marketing materials (under twenty-five pounds) and venue site visits are required.
