**Strength/Cardio Class. Pay is $30.50 per Class. Hours: Teach 2 classes per week within these hours: Monday to start at 5 PM, 5:30M or 6PM start (your choice), AND Wednesday, same hours. This class is intended for those residents who are still working. Flexibility considered. The Fitness Instructor will be responsible for instructing various fitness levels and class formats in a safe and enthusiastic manner. Reports any incident or accident to the Fitness Manager. Helps ensure facility is only accessed by actual members and/or guests, and that it is safe and secure at all times. Encourages continued training with existing members by evaluating existing programs and modifying them with the current trends. Creates new programs to maintain interest levels of existing clients. Promotes all facility programs/activities by discussing other department areas that may assist members with a total facility experience. Must keep current with facility calendar – programs, events and activities. Participates in facility events, activities, and seminars when directed by management. Maintains professional and technical knowledge about exercise, health, and fitness by remaining current with trends in the industry. Contributes to the facility by accomplishing related results as needed. Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain facility and prepare for special events Knowledge and Skills: · Current first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications when required by the club. · Ability to demonstrate equipment use for exercise training. · Must be able to lift 45-pound weight plates. · Excellent customer service skills and work ethic. · Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. · Excellent verbal and written skills. · Experience in a continuous improvement environment a plus.
