A terminal degree in a public health discipline (or related discipline), with professional work history in Public Health Academic and Professional Programs. Exceptional candidates with a Master’s Degree in Public Health may be considered and will need a terminal degree exception before appointment.
Position Summary
The College of Public Health seeks applicants with a strong record in service, professional practice, and instruction in public health to serve as the Practice Coordinator for the MPH degree at the Academic Professional Associate or Academic Professional rank.
The position is a calendar year (12-month) appointment and is not on the tenure track. The successful candidate will be required to teach 12-credit-hours of instruction per year (40% effort). The remaining effort (60%) will be focused on administration, including overseeing the applied practice experience for campus-based MPH students. The position is available beginning July 1, 2025
Additional Requirements
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience and/or administration in higher education is required.

Preferred qualifications include supporting graduate public health programs and community engagement, including developing student practice and/or career experiences in public health, as well as marketing professional education opportunities in public health and knowledge of accreditation of public health programs.
