Position Information
Classification Title Service/Maintenance Worker FLSA Non-Exempt FTE 1.00 Minimum Qualifications
Requires are least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
This is a benefits eligible, partial year position. Each selected incumbent will sign a partial year agreement. Employees returning to work from designated partial-year leave periods are continued in the same position with no break in service and no change in the original hire date.
Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. Complete paperwork associated with assignments. Follow written and verbal instructions by supervisory personnel. Occasional bus washing and other non-driving tasks from time to time. Drug and alcohol testing by the US Department of Transportation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies
• Demonstrate a safe driving record, good communication skills, and work with people of various backgrounds and skill levels.
Physical Demands
• Sitting for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, reaching.
• Driving as needed to perform job duties.
