Description:
This position serves a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
The department operates 24/7 with a team of 11-13 therapists on day shifts and 9-10 therapists on night shifts.
Therapists cover all floors in the facility, including a 30-bed ICU, a 25-bed Open Heart unit, a 25-bed NICU, and a 45-bed ED.
Required experience with electronic health record systems, as well as specific ventilator brands and systems.
Scrub color must not be all red or all navy blue.
There is a maximum of 7 days of requested time off.
Travelers are expected to work every other weekend.
Travelers may float within the facility.
There are no call requirements.
If assigned major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of the holidays if three major holidays fall within the period.
Compliance is required to start on time.
Candidates must be prepared to complete core items and schedule necessary labs within 48 hours of signing the contract.
Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside of the organization prior to rebooking at a new location.
