Job Type: Direct Hire Litigation Attorney - Defense

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Litigation Attorney to join a defense firm that serves a diverse clientele including businesses, employers, government entities, individuals, and insurance carriers throughout the Carolina's. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience supporting and leading matters in the some or all of the following areas: Civil Litigation, Construction Law, Business Litigation, Real Estate Disputes, Collections & Creditor’s Rights and/or Default Services.
Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation in state and federal courts
- Manage a caseload of real estate, construction, and commercial litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda
- Take and defend depositions; attend court hearings, mediations, and trials
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients with a business-forward mindset
- Collaborate with partners and legal team members on complex litigation strategy
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant case law and legislative developments
Litigation Attorney Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in South Carolina
- 3+ years of relevant litigation experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
